Yesterday there were 30 mph winds, rain and it was around 40 degrees. Not good for golf practice, so everyone stayed on the putting green until they went home. They eventually moved where I wanted them too and I grabbed this quick frame.

Yes, this is a little behind for all the Seuss fans out there. Cute kids are a staple of my job, but I thought this one was nice. I mean, whose childhood was not touched by Dr. Seuss? Mike my roommate helped me write a quirky, Seuss-ish caption at 11:00 p.m. when my brain was not feeling creative. It sounds a little cheesy now, but…

Hunter Bowman, 3, likes the Cat in the Hat. He likes the cat here. He likes the cat there. He likes the cat everywhere — especially at the Campbell County Library. Hunter, his brother, mother and many more children and families celebrated the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel — a.k.a Dr. Seuss — on Wednesday night at the library with a day of special celebrations and readings that culminated in a visit by one of Dr. Seuss's most iconic characters.

The Campbell County swim team (our home team) and the Laramie team got into a brief, friendly chanting duel before the meet began. The Campbell County team is chanting 'Tyler's got a gut', who is the guy holding his belly.

Nick Dillinger and Nick Hopson embrace after narrowly winning the 400 meter freestyle relay... Nick Dillinger is a certified dolphin. The team was in third when he went in the water and he still won the race. Great athlete and a great kid who'll be competing to qualify for the Olympics. Good luck Nick.

The Cheyenne coach dives in the water with his team after they won the meet. Thought this one was just kind of funny.
